Original Sin, Original Blessing—or Both? We often hear about original sin as humanity’s starting point, while theologian Matthew Fox speaks of original blessing. But what if both belong together? If sin at its root means simply “error”—the illusion of separation—then blessing is the deeper truth: our unbroken oneness with God. Seen together, they form a beautiful whole.
